The comfortable Point Bar is a cosy bar, particularly on a cold Winter's night when a big open fire blazes in the corner. It attracts locals and visitors alike. Live entertainment is a regular feature at the weekends and the mix of guests with local residents makes for a truly unique friendly, welcoming ambience. It is particularly noted for it's fine range and quality of Bar Food Menu which is served in the bar daily.

The Point Bar is open from 10am daily until 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday inclusive and until 12.30 Friday and Saturday. Breakfast is served every morning from 10am and Bar Food is served from 12 noon daily until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 9.30pm Friday and Saturday. The renowned Lodge Sunday lunch is served from 12noon until 4.30pm every Sunday for just €18 for a four course meal.
