"Foody's Lodge" occupies the site of the previous cabaret venue and landmark known as "The Point Inn" which dates back to the 1950s which was a key stopping point in the area for food and cabaret. It is closely rooted in local history and deeply connected with the development of the village. The building was totally redesigned, rebuilt and reopened in July 1999.  Then in November 2006 the business was purchased by Jason and JT Foody who have worked in the hospitality industry for the past 15 years in management and head chef roles in some of Ireland and the world’s best hotels.

Foody’s Lodge now comprises 16 en-suite lodge style bedrooms, conference facilities, 200 seater function room, 70 seater restaurant and a new style bar.  Internally the lodge has a homely décor with quality food and service to match. An extensive smokers terrace was also added to the building with panoramic views of Lough Foyle.  The relatively small number of bedrooms ensures individual attention at all times.
