Throughout the Inishowen Peninsula and the county of Donegal itself, you will find an abundance of visitor attractions to discover and explore.  Detailed here are just a few of the attractions in the nearby vicinity which the Point Lodge highly recommend visiting.

Quigley's Point is bordered on one side by the waters of Lough Foyle with panoramic views across to the mountains of Derry. While on the other side, equally spectacular views up into the Carrickmaquigley Hills Of Donegal.

Grianan Ailigh

Situated just 2km off the N13 Letterkenny to Derry road the Grianan is an ancient stone ring fort. It was the ancient hilltop fortress of the McLaughlin and O'Neill Kings of Ulster before it was destroyed by Murtough O'Brien in 1101 A.D. and subsequently abandoned. The view overlooks Loughs Swilly and Foyle from the top of Grianan Mountain . It was partially restored in 1870.

Culdaff has a population of approx. 200 people;contains three pubs, three shops, a hardware store and a post office (for those of amathematical nature, that's one pub to every 66 people!) Free from traffic jams with no such thing as a "rush hour", except at closing time, Culdaff is a ideal place to switch off and relax.
Dunree Fort
